The opportunity to observe a major crisis unfold is rare and captivating.
Major crises are often sudden — hurricanes, earthquakes, explosions. Other crises are gradual; climate change has been unfolding for decades.
Covid-19 expands daily. You can see it and feel it; perhaps like molten lava, but with no indication of where it is heading or who it will strike next.
